The youth at the Gila Valley Boys and Girls Club has finished it's Martin Luther King Food Drive.  We thank all participants for their amazing donations.  If you feel led to donate any further, feel free as we have a local food bank that is always looking for food donations.  Once again, thank you for your donations.

February 17-19 the Gila Valley Boys and Girls Club hosted our 1st Annual Club Olympics.  Our Olympics consisted of three days of different activities; each day having a different theme.  The 17th was Track & Field day, which consisted of the long jump, football throw, and free throw contest.  The 18th was our educational day with a Team realy race that consisted of spelling words, math equations, social studies, and geography.  The last day was Cardio day, which included a Relay Race and Dance off.  Each day was full of fun and laughter. The scoring was based on not only winning each competition, but also sportsmanship, bringing friends, and the team that cheers the most.   By the end of the three days each team was tied.  We are so proud of all our kids that participated in our Olympics.  Everyone worked together and enjoyed each other.  Look here for the next time we will host our Club Olympics.
