We would like to congratulate Jordan Chaffin as the Youth of the Year 2010 for the Gila Valley Boys and Girls Club.  Jordan has been a member of the Club for 10 years.  He has worked his way up from being a Club kid to being an excellent staff member.  Jordan competed at the State Youth of The Year competition and while not winning the state competition, he still won a $3000 scholarship for college.

Youth of the Year is a national Boys and Girls Club program.  Each year participants are chosen from all Clubs across the country. Youth of the Year promotes and celebrates service to Club, community and family; academic performance; moral character; life goals; and poise and public speaking ability.  This program is year round and for members 14-18. Contact us  if you would like to be a part of this program.
