We would like to congratulate Jordan Chaffin as the Youth of the Year 2010 for the Gila Valley Boys and Girls Club.  Jordan has been a member of the Club for 10 years.  He has worked his way up from being a Club kid to being an excellent staff member.  Jordan will be competing in Pheonix April 12th and 13th for the State Competition.  If he wins, he will go on to regionals and perhaps even nationals; all along the way collecting scholarships worth $10,000.  Jordan is truly a great person and we wish him LUCK on his future.

Youth of the Year is a national Boys and Girls Club program.  Each year participants are chosen from all Clubs across the country. Youth of the Year promotes and celebrates service to Club, community and family; academic performance; moral character; life goals; and poise and public speaking ability.  This program is year round and for members 14-18. Contact us  if you would like to be a part of this program.
